North Korea: President Obama, Time To Be A Leader

The two remaining members of the Axis of Evil, Iran and North Korea, have made clear their lack of respect for our callow and shallow President, as he traipsed around the world with his gold-plated posse in tow.

Tehran continues its march towards production of nuclear weapons just as fast as Russia, North Korea, and rogue suppliers of technology can feed them resources.

Meanwhile, North Korea manipulated American scientists to reveal the advanced stages of their nuclear weapons production facilities. And just in case Obama was on the golf course, or flying to a ceremony in Europe, and didn’t hear that message, the communist Koreans on Tuesday carpet-shelled a free Korean island.

Can you hear them now, Mr. Obama? Do you realize that it wasn’t President Bush that they hate? Do you realize how ridiculous they consider you? Do you realize how much you have humiliated the country that you chose to call home? Do you realize that America is the vanguard of good in the world?

The Axis of Evil are not humane. They are not humanitarian. They are not caring. They are not fair. They are not free. They are not open. They are not dedicated to human decency, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness.

They are dedicated to control. Control of their own people. Control of you. Control of me. For what purpose? For evil, Mr. Obama. They are evil. Their goals are evil. Their intent is evil. They mask their goals in ideology—religious (Iran’s theocracy) or quasi-religious (North Korea’s worship of its leader and his spawn). But their ultimate goal is to control.

You kow-tow to kings, despots, and tyrants. Bullies sense weakness. Bullies sense cowardice. The Axis of Evil are bullies. Your actions since inauguration signal weakness and cowardice. Allies, foes, and potential foes all around the world hear and see your message of weakness. They smell blood in the water.



It is clear that you have neither the experience nor aptitude to undertake the job which you won in 2008. But you could show your character. Fire your team. Then resign. Allow leaders with experience and wisdom to make the hard decisions required to keep our country and its allies safe and free.

The whole world is watching. China is intrigued. Russia awaits. Do the right thing, for America.

Negotiate with the Taliban—How Many Eggheads Make an Omelette?

Obama wants to negotiate with the Taliban? What sort of brilliant strategist devised that idea? I’ll see your Holbrooke, and raise you a Hillary.

Not since the waning days of the Johnson administration has America had so many clueless eggheads deciding the course of our history. A holdover from Kennedy’s presidency, National Security Advisor McGeorge Bundy was a liberal shining star. Much like Obama’s geniuses, it seems that his credentials were based on high aptitude test scores. He also talked Harvard into hiring him as a professor holding only a B.A. degree. He was the Chairman of Johnson’s 303 Committee, the U.S. government’s covert action coordinating group. He played a leading role in such Democrat fiascoes as the Bay of Pigs, bombing North Vietnam, covert operations in Cambodia, the Cuban missile crisis, and more.

The next convocation of self-proclaimed geniuses inflicted on us was the Carter administration. His National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, oversaw Carter’s bowing and scraping to the Evil Empire, the communist Russians. The combination of Carter’s sweater-clad misunderstanding of our adversaries and Brzezinski’s self-aggrandizing showboating caused foreign affairs disasters, one after another. The Soviets picked our pockets in the strategic missile negotiations. Then they head-faked Carter and invaded Afghanistan while the brilliant, populist Democrat rhapsodized about world peace and understanding. And, in a humiliating slap heard around the world, Iranian Islamic extremist revolutionaries seized our embassy in Tehran, and kidnapped 66 American citizens. But the humiliation was not over for the Democrat geniuses. The Carter White House micromanaged a Delta force rescue attempt that fizzled out in the Iranian desert. It ended in disaster and eight brave Americans lost their lives.

With Democrat geniuses again running our foreign affairs and combat, we should refresh our memory of the consequences of following the advice of “brilliant” liberal technocrats. The results include the Bay of Pigs, restricted rules of engagement in Vietnam, body counts, hearts and minds, SALT II, Afghanistan, an entire American embassy seized and held hostage, dead soldiers in sandstorms. And now we have the reprise of Johnson/Carter brain trusts—the Obama clique of professors. Can their brilliance possibly produce different outcomes than the previous Ivy League Democrat bozos?



So far, Obama’s crowd has produced, among other foreign affairs coups, the “closure” of Gitmo. The persecution of CIA officers for interrogating terrorists. The elevation of gays in the military to a policy level issue while we conduct two wars. Confused incoherence on handling terrorist prisoners of war—a plan, decided at breakfast, to prosecute combatants captured on the battlefield for felonies in U.S. courts. Hit with a massive terrorist attack by an al-Qaeda penetration agent in the U.S. Army—Obama and his geniuses warned against connecting the dots to come to any conclusions. Obama’s National Counterterrorism Advisor investigated himself after both his previous CIA analytical program and his commercial program, which he sold to his former office, failed. The same geniuses were unable to “connect the dots” to identify the Panties Bomber. The muddled undergraduate seminar to choose a strategy in Afghanistan. The muddled strategy that resulted—Obama announced a withdrawal date at the same time he announced a surge. The panicked firing of a military professional after a liberal hit piece reveals that, wait—he thought Joe Biden was an idiot! The elevation to the status of military savior of the general who the progressives, led by Obama and Hillary, derided as a lying traitor. Nation-building in Afghanistan. Rolling over for the Russians after the FBI arrested ten, count ‘em ten, covert agents and agent handlers living and working as “illegals” in the U.S. North Korea blew up a South Korean ship. Iran fired up its nuclear reactors, with Russian expertise, after liberal analysts and the Obamaites assured us that the Iranians had no such ability, desire or expertise. A unilateral declaration of the end of combat in Iraq, while Americans continue to fight and die there. And there are more. Billy Joel could do a new “We didn’t light the fire” song with just Obama’s blunders.

Foreign affairs disasters, miscalculations, blunders, mistakes, crises, call them what you will. For anyone who cares about American interests the last two years were horrific.

So, back to negotiating with the Taliban. Why? The only reason the Taliban negotiate with us is to buy time. They know we are leaving. They even know the date. Obama told them. They have all the time in the world. They just wait until Obama turns tail and declares an end to combat. We leave. Then the massacres begin.

Anyone old enough to remember the fall of Saigon? I worked in a refugee camp, more than ten years after Saigon fell. The destroyed lives, shattered families, ruined bodies, spirits and minds trickled out of Vietnam into the camps. Millions of people risked life and limb to escape the totalitarian, anti-American regime that murdered, tortured, or re-educated anyone who had contact with Americans.

What is different in Afghanistan? When Obama declares combat over, will the Taliban be merciful to Afghan women who worked with Americans? How about the Afghan Army and intelligence service? Will the Taliban accept the police? Recent history suggests that there will be a bloodbath worse than Vietnam. The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia exterminated nearly a third of their fellow countrymen. And they were only motivated by politics, not religion. Obama’s geniuses could potentially have the blood of millions on their hands. Professorial seminars and 99^th percentile SATs could prove to be deadly—again.

Obama's Anti-American Agenda and Its Effects

Prime Minister Putin today expressed his admiration for President Obama's "brave" decision to expose Eastern Europe's flank to missile attacks. Evidently, the Obama administration's desire to make foreigners "like us" is bearing fruit.

Symbolism is more important than technical details. Poland and the Czech Republic were 'under our wing' before. Now they are thrown to the wolves. Russia and/or Tehran have inched closer to regional control.

Neville Chamberlain's appeasement was a good-faith attempt to serve his country, wimpy and idiotic as it was. The Obama clique's appeasement is wanton and depraved. Their apparent goal is to destroy the status the US built in the 2oth century. They are well on their way.

Very much like Chamberlain's idiotic claim of "peace in our time," Obama's anti-American abandonment of our mutual protection agreements with Poland and the Czech Republic will almost surely lead to conflict. The only question is: Will it be World War III, or a regional war? The former is much more likely, with Russia's interest in regaining its lost stature as a world power.

Obama instinctively abhors America's special role as the global police force, with good will towards all and a solid billy-club for transgressors.

Obama's crown?

Obama's "Progressives," now firmly in control of all the levers of America's power: diplomatic, military, and economic, are bound and determined to put America in its place. Since the 1920s, the Obama clique of elites and their ancestors have taught the politically correct lessons in academia and education, the media and Hollywood. The essence of their view: America is a land of unbridled racism, xenophobia, hatred, imperialism and injustice. In contrast, they set up the Progressive mission: to level the playing field for their comrades.

Obama's craven Secretary of Defense, a RINO former CIA analyst with pretensions of grandeur, was traditional America's last hope to fend off the Progressive attack on the Pax Americana. It would appear that he has capitulated to the Progressives. Our flank is wide open to the Progressive attack. The only remaining voice of reason at high levels of the administration would appear to be--Hillary Clinton.

How ironic is it that we must now now look to the Hillary as the one remaining potential beacon of sanity in Obama's inmate-run asylum? During her last adminstration, we were able to repulse several attacks on normal America. Her husband, the first black president, attuned to the political winds, shifted his policies back toward the center when his Progressive intention became known (gays in the military, health care reform). Clinton's initial forays into Progressive anti-Americanism were met with tea-party-like outrage.

Focused on his own political future, and guided by his savvy triangulation strategy, Clinton tacked back to the political center, and garnered grudging support and respect. In retrospect, the Clintons' reign appears nearly conservative. Our second black president has nothing but contempt for his opponents. His goal is not to co-opt them and their positions, but rather to mock and destroy them.

Is Obama less mindful of his political future than Bill Clinton was? Or does he have another plan to maintain power? Possibly a plan that does not require the winning of elections? His hope to replicate the shenanigans of the 2008 election were dealt a blow this month, as his minions in ACORN revealed their plans to spend federal funds to import illegal alien child sex slaves for Obama-brothels.

The ancient media has collapsed under the weight of its impossible burden, the covert influence operation that tries to hide the real face of the Obama Progressives. The next election will mobilize and deploy the 9/12 tea-party Normal Americans and demolish the Progressive power structure. The new media is finally coalescing as the voice of the no-longer-silent-majority. A giant Rip van Winkle shook the accumulated leaves from his clothing, stood and roared on Sept 12, 2009. The Obama machine's response of studied contempt is like the Lost in Space Robot spluttering, "Does not compute, Will Robinson! Does not compute!"

For the last hundred years, Normal Americans have been beaten down by the triple threat of the media, education/academia, and the entertainment industry. Our every attempt to celebrate and defend American exceptionalism, values, and ideals has been mocked, attacked, and derided. We have been beaten down and branded as haters, racists, sexists, homophobes. 9/12 marked a turning point. No more will normals ignore egregious anti-American agendas. Not in the government, not on ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN, not at Columbia University, and not from Castro-loving Oliver Stone and his ilk.

While wishing the President and his administration well, for the sake of our country, we must maintain vigilance to ensure that our sacred institutions, values, and interests are not permanently damaged beyond repair. Look at the United Kingdom after Chamberlain sold its soul. Is that where we want to be in 20 years?

Crisis Hints--Obama's Friends Provide Details

Things are moving pretty quickly in the race to provide Obama with cover and excuses for the coming crackdown.

The Prophet of Global Doom has spoken: Al Gore urges "the inspiring and transformative" Obama to take action, and take action quickly.

Gore's vision of global doom requires harsh, nation-wide, and immediate action.

Although neither Gore or Obama admit the consequences of their visions, it does not take much imagination to read between the lines and envision what implementation of Gore's plan to "put a price on carbon here at home."

What that means is massive taxes on energy as we know it.

What it means is transformation of our economy to the horse and buggy days.

What Gore means is that the vast swathes of Red American will be transformed into 19th century farmsteads. The farmsteads will be viewed by the Prophets and their followers from 30,000 feet as they fly from coast to coast in jetliners, attending their Global Warming Doom and Gloom conferences.

Meanwhile, we experience the coldest year in decades. Record cold blankets the country. North pole ice expands to a record amount.

Ignore reality.

Just listen to the Prophets.

Submit.

Sacrifice for the system.

Give it up.

And enjoy it.

Obama, the American Jacobin--Robespierre, Stalin, and Dzerzhinsky

Obama has been successful in his quest for power.

His political techniques were classic, directly from the pages of revolutionary manuals.

And I don't mean the American Revolution.

His political handlers, his political career, his political rhetoric, are models of socialist/communist methods.

True Believers March to the Front

The key, the communists learned, is to never tell the truth.

All communist rhetoric was calculated to appeal to the specific circumstances of the current situation.

They never revealed their true intentions to the uninitiated, the fellow travelers, the useful idiots.

Their appeals to the unitiated were full of generalized platitudes. No mention of specific policies or plans of action after they achieve power.


Obama's generalized platitudes?

"Change."

"Hope."

"Believe."

Well, Obama has now achieved power.

What could be behind his platitudes?

Let's look at some historical precedents that called for Change, Hope, or Belief.


Before we do, though, let's look back at how others have solidified their power, especially when faced with an unruly, uncooperative legislative body, or uncooperative citizens.


The best example of uncooperative legislatures, and how the "Changers" deal with them, occurred in November 1917. Nationwide elections resulted in the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) finishing second in the legislative elections. The Communists, within days, "dissolved" the legislature. Thus began several years of bloody civil war. This civil war, and the Communists' techniques of mass arrests, summary executions, internments, and repression set the template for Communist rule in Russia for the next 70 years. The founder of the KGB, Felix Dzerzhinsky, perfected his techniques during this Crisis.

A good example of uncooperative citizens, and how they are handled by "Changers" was post-Revolutionary France. After the Revolution, led by the Jacobins, severed the heads of aristocrats, its energies turned inwards.

A series of Crises brought about counter-revolutionary purges against the revolutionaries that were even bloodier than the original anti-elite blood-letting. Robespierre, architect of Change, lost his head.

The Jacobins, intellectuals who knew what was best for other citizens, used the street fighting Sans Culottes, to bring about Change. But in the end, the Sans Culottes had their own way. Once they had a taste of it, their lust for blood knew no bounds.

Although there are many real-world examples in history, these two are good for our purposes.

The goal here is to look at how "Changers" deal with the reality they find once they are in power. They come to power mouthing vague platitudes that mean all things to all people.

Once in power, it is impossible to make all their followers happy. One or another faction will be dissappointed. Their dissappointment causes them to turn against the "Changers." The Changers then turn on their ex-followers. Their revenge is nasty, bloody, and violent.

In both of the examples above, the Changers were able to use a "Crisis" to rationalize their crackdowns.

Is there a parallel here to Obama and his movement?

The parallel is striking.

How will this play out?

What is the crisis that the American Jacobins will declare requires action?

Joe Biden already provided a hint when he said, "Mark my words, within 6 months, we will face a major international crisis, testing this young President."

Lenin then appealed over the head of the assembly to the people, claiming the workers' councils (the soviets) represented "a higher form of democratic principle." By January 1918 the assembly was completely demoralized, and it ceased to function.

Karl Marx's call for a dictatorship of the proletariat at the outset of any socialist regime in order to solve problems of social change from capitalism to socialism, was realized with considerable strength after Lenin sent troops to the Constituent Assembly in January 1918 to intimidate representatives.

The closure of the Constituent Assembly by Red Army units under Bolshevik command meant the end of the enduring dream of the Russian opposition that a Constituent Assembly might settle Russia's future.

Robespierre took the lead and the Terror was installed to defeat the insurrection and to repel opportunistic foreign invaders, since this was in every sense a national emergency.

Fullbright Scholar--Ratting Out America on Our Dime

The Fulbright scholarship program is a US taxpayer funded academic exchange program. US citizens who accept money from the Fulbright program, travel to foreign countries to undertake research.

These US citizens are provided full support from the local United States government representatives, namely the staff of the US embassy in the country in which they are working.

These Fulbright scholars are accorded special privileges, which are not provided to ordinary US citizens abroad. They enjoy the support of the US embassy, and the special aura that surrounds an American affiliated with the US embassy in a third world country.

US Citizen Fulbright scholars do not carry some sort of United Nations passport, nor are they "citizens of the world." They are US citizens, with the full rights and responsibilities of any other US citizen.

John Alexander van Schaick (above), a Fulbright scholar in Bolivia, recently ratted out a US Embassy Security Officer to the Bolivian government. The Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO) in Bolivia provided a security briefing to Fulbright scholars and Peace Corps volunteers.

During this briefing, the ARSO mentioned to the scholars and volunteers that the US embassy was interested in the whereabouts and activities of third country citizens in Bolivia, specifically Cubans and Venezuelans.

Clearly a patriotic internationalist, van Schaick ran crying to ABC News to reveal the US Embassy's interest in Cubans and Venezuelans in Bolivia. ABC broke the story with screaming headlines and a full network news story, now ricocheting around the internet.

Bolivia responded by closing a police training academy funded by the US embassy. In addition, it appears that they canceled other security and intelligence cooperation programs with the US.

The simpering hero of this story, van Schaick, was quoted as saying "I was in shock. My immediate thought was 'oh my God!Somebody from the U.S. Embassy just asked me to basically spy for the U.S.Embassy.'"

According to news reports, "Van Schaick, 23, said he reported the incident Thursday to Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca."

Clearly, the callow van Schaick, skipped his civics lessons throughout elementary and high school. Or, more likely, he never had any civics lessons. He is an American. He is not a citizen of the United Nations. He is not in Bolivia to serve the interests of Cuba, Venezuela or Bolivia. The taxpayers of the United States have provided him with a privileged position in order to advance the interests of the United States.

What the ARSO asked van Schaick to do was not espionage. It was not spying. The ARSO has a very difficult job, being responsible for the safety and security of all US citizens in his country, including twits like van Schaick. The ARSO's responsibility is a daunting and difficult assignment. It is not made any easier by having unwilling, ignorant, misguided charges.

Now if this silly young boy had been working within the Bolivian government, and had enjoyed access to some sort of secret information, and the ARSO had requested that he deliver this information to the US embassy, that would have been espionage. If this starry eyed internationalist had been asked to courier secret payments to rebels in the jungles of Bolivia, that would have been espionage. If this ungrateful recipient of American taxpayer largesse had been asked to secretly contact Bolivian government officials, that would have been espionage.

His reporting of an internal conversation within the US embassy to the Bolivian government borders on espionage, against the United States. It also borders on treason. At the very least, it is ungrateful. His reporting to the Bolivian government is a slap in the face to each and every US citizen taxpayer that provided him funds to travel to Bolivia to pursue his studies.

The privileges and responsibilities accorded the taxpayer-funded "scholar," van Schaick, should be immediately withdrawn from this ignorant researcher of "land use issues among largely indigenous farmers in Bolivia's eastern lowlands."

In the future, if the US government provides services to Fulbright scholars, such as security briefings, the Fulbrighters should be required to sign nondisclosure agreements. They should also be advised of their right to leave the country immediately and to cancel their scholarships, grants, and other funding, if they disagree with what they hear from US officials.

We deserve no less than full cooperation from all taxpayer-funded individuals anywhere in the world. If the van Schaicks of the world believe that their allegiance is owed to some higher power, or to another country, then let them answer to that higher power or the other country. And let the higher power, or the other country, fund their activities. For now, we need to immediately recall van Schaick, strip him of all US government funding,and explore options for dealing with his treasonous actions. In the meantime, the ARSO should be rewarded for doing his job.
